Representative direct Investments
In 2017 Potencia began making direct investments into private companies that serve lower-income communities either through education or increasing people's prospects for meaningful employment. We invest in early stage companies in Latin America and the US, either on our own or with other investors. Companies that Potencia Ventures supports include:
Kuepa Education

Kuepa’s offers high quality, affordable educational services that have reached over 30,000 thousand young people and facilitates their entry into the labor market or into higher education.
LETRUS
Based in Brazil, Letrus develops and markets a platform that analyzes student writing samples and provides feedback to teachers and students. Letrus’s platform is helping to build critical infrastructure in education that leverages technology to improve the student and teacher experience.
MPOWER provides loans to international students in the US and Canada without credit history, co-signers, or collateral to help finance higher education expenses.
