In 2023, Potencia Day served as a vibrant meeting point for entrepreneurs and investors in Education and Future of Work, spotlighting the Potencia UP program as a strategic bridge between capital and ventures seeking societal impact.
Through in-person panels, networking sessions, and curated matchups, the event amplified the visibility of high-potential impact startups, many of them led by diverse and underrepresented founders.
Potencia UP is Potencia Ventures’ fellowship program that supports early stage founders in education and the future of work by strengthening their business fundamentals, improving product market fit, and preparing them for fundraising with clear, practical guidance.
The program prioritizes committed entrepreneurs serving low income populations and offers a structured path with content, deliverables, and individualized support that helps founders move from reflection to action.
Potencia Day, our annual gathering in São Paulo, complements this work by bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem leaders to share learnings and strengthen the community around impact driven innovation in the region.
In 2023, Potencia UP brought together twenty impact-driven startups in education and employability, all led by diverse founders, and supported them through a full year of mentoring, peer learning, and access to a community of entrepreneurs and investors. Throughout the program, these founders engaged deeply with practical content and hands-on support designed to strengthen their business foundations and accelerate their growth. The year culminated at Potencia Day 2023, where the cohort connected in person to exchange insights, expand their networks, and reinforce the long-term community Potencia Ventures aims to build around diverse, mission-aligned entrepreneurship.
In 2025, Potencia UP expanded significantly through its partnership with Artemisia, which enabled the program to scale its reach and strengthen its structure, driving applications from 170 in the first edition to 375 in the second. This growth reflected both the rising demand from founders in education and the future of work and the clearer, more rigorous learning journey designed for the new cohort. The partnership also broadened the program’s capacity to support diverse, impact driven entrepreneurs and helped Potencia Ventures identify twenty startups whose engagement and quality of deliverables consistently stood out. The year culminated at Potencia Day 2025, where founders, investors, and ecosystem leaders met in São Paulo to exchange insights, deepen connections, and reinforce the long term community that anchors the program.
